‘Befitting reply be given to enemy’

JAMMU, May 6: Cutting across party lines, former Councillors of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) under the leadership of ex-Mayor, Rajinder Sharma today condemned Pakistan for the terrorist attack on tourists at famous hill station of Pahalgam in Kashmir.
The Councillors said that a befitting response was needed to be given to Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing the Councillors the former Mayor Rajinder Sharma said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will surely teach Pakistan a befitting lesson and the perpetrators of heinous terrorist attack on tourists will not be spared.
He said that cutting the water supply to Pakistan from Indian rivers is a welcome step and more restrictions should be imposed on Pakistan.

“Indian Army is all set to smash the terrorist camps in Pakistan and the public of our country demands a strict lesson to Pakistan for killing the innocent people.
Rajinder Sharma appealed to the public to maintain communal brotherhood and support the Government in maintaining peace in the country.
He informed that progress made by our country especially Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of PM Modi is not being digested by Pakistan.
“After the abrogation of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir has progressed immensely and tourists have started visiting here in large number which had become a sore in the eye of enemies of our nation,” Sharma continued.
He said that all of us are united for a fight against terrorism in all its forms like heinous attacks on tourists or narco terrorism hitting the future of our youth.
All the former Councillors extended full support to Sharma in cooperating and supporting the Government in the hour of need. In case of war, all the Councillors pledged to serve and extend every type of help to the ward inhabitants as they did during COVID-19 pandemic for their safety and security. They also appealed to flush out Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Burmese citizens from J&K who have become threat to national security.
