It is a matter of satisfaction that under the guidance and insistence of the Prime Minister, the state government of PDD and BJP has introduced the most important Food Security Act in the state which is effective from February next year. This social security measure was put on hold by the previous government and the then central government of UPA hardly cared.
About this , the CM and the Dy. CM gave details in a press conference at Jammu. This Food Security will be implemented in toto as a central Act and no separate legislation shall be made . This is just to save time . Rice and Atta shall be made available at Rs. 2 and 3 respectively.Nearly 9 million people shall get its benefit in one form or the other. The CM praised the PM Modi for his total commitment towards this state and said, ” I have not seen such a PM.” He further said that among all the Prime Ministers he had worked with, he had found him the best and that he was not ungrateful.
