The authorities are least concerned about the food safety in our State. Today everybody is worried what to eat and what not to eat. There is no quality check for the edibles. People say that even fruits and vegetables are having chemicals that have altered not only the taste of these things but have posed an alarming threat to the health conditions of the consumers. Nobody checks the quality of milk not to speak of flour manufactured in the mills. No check on the quality of confectionery.
It is important to mention here that there was traffic chaos in the Jammu city and when Basanth Rath took the reins it improved positively and in spite of his absence, the traffic here received a positive boost. Is there no need of any officer who can guarantee food safety to the consumers.?
