SRINAGAR, Apr 17: Scores of casual labourers of Floriculture Department staged protests in the Emporium Garden against the Government for its failure to regularize their services.
“Casual labourers are working in the department for over a decade. It is ironical that we are treated badly. Whenever there is shortage of funds in the department, only casual labourers had to face the heat. They don’t have sources of income and on the verge of starvation,” the protesters said.
