SAMBA, Mar 2: Five vehicles, including three dumpers, were seized for illegal mining in Samba district today, officials said.
They said teams of Police Stations Samba, Ramgarh, and Purmandal, along with Police Post Utterbehani under the supervision of concerned SHOs and incharge Police Post seized these vehicles during patrolling duties in their respective jurisdictional areas.
The seized vehicles have been handed over to the Geology and Mining Department Samba for further legal action, they said.
