SAMBA, Mar 15: As part of its ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related issues, Police in Samba district detained five more vagrants under the preventive sections of the BNSS near the known hotspot for drug activity, heroin, in Bari Brahmana.
The police operation, led by SHO PS Bari Brahmana, targeted suspicious individuals in the area around Balole Khad, an official said.
“This action is part of the police’s broader initiative to combat drug abuse and rehabilitate those affected by narcotics,” he said.
Meanwhile, Police in Samba district has emphasized its commitment to eradicating the drug menace and assured the public that strict action will continue against those involved in drug trafficking and abuse.
The arrests were made by Police Team under the supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas.
The police have urged the community to stay alert and support their efforts in the fight against drugs.
