JAMMU, Sept 6: Five persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, one scooty-borne youth identified as Darshan Singh (19) son of Raj Singh, resident of Nagrota, was hit and injured by an Army vehicle near Kandoli Mandir, Nagrota.
A Constable of GRP Jammu identified as Rakesh Kumar (36) son of Brij Nath Pandita, resident of Jagti (Nagrota) was hit and injured by a mini-bus in front of the out gate of SMGS Hospital, when he was crossing the road on foot.
A pedestrian identified as Shobha Kumari (30) wife of Sushil Kumar, resident of Poonch House, (Talab Tillo), was injured when she was hit by a Swift car near her residence.
A woman identified as Krishna Devi (60) wife of Harbans Lal, resident of Samba, sustained injuries when the bike on which she was travelling, was hit by a car at Digiana.
At Bagh-e Bahu, one Sandeep (26) son of Inderjeet Singh, resident of Bagh-e-Bahu, got injured when the scooty which he was riding was hit by car.
