SAMBA, Oct 2: Five workers of an industrial unit located in Phase-I of SIDCO industrial Growth Center, suffered burn injuries after some chemical fell over them here, today.
The victims have been identified as Sohan Singh (27), son of Sagar Singh, resident of Kootah in Kathua, Harsh Dev Singh (31), son of Tej Paul Singh, Ajay Singh (25), son of Sukhdev Singh, Teenu Singh (22), son of Roop Singh, Davinder Singh (30), son of Lakshman Singh, all resident of Uttar Pradesh, at present, SIDCO, Samba.
They were rushed to District Hospital Samba where from they were referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
The police said the incident took place at local Factory on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday where all victims were working. They sustained burn injuries after some chemical fell on their body. A case has been registered in this regard and investigations are on.
