LEH, Mar 19: Police have arrested five persons in Leh for their alleged involvement in theft and drug related activities.

Officials said among those arrested are two locals and three non-locals, with one of the local arrestee having previous criminal record.
They said the arrests were made during a targeted operation launched to curb rising incidents of theft and illegal drug activities in the area.
Meanwhile, police have urged the public to stay alert and report any suspicious movement.
Residents have also been advised to install CCTV cameras and ensure proper tenant verification at the nearest police station to help prevent such crimes.
