Five booked for unauthorized entry into school in Kanachak

JAMMU, Nov 29: Police in Jammu’s Kanachak area have booked five individuals for their unauthorised entry into a school to harass students and staff.
A police official said that five people entered into Government High School Chak Jaffar in Kanachak few days back, disrupted the morning assembly, and started harassing the students with their abusive behaviour.
He said the accused individuals, all locals, also applied Sindoor tikas (vermillion marks) on the foreheads of some students and staff members forcibly.
They also recorded their unruly behaviour and later shared it on some social media platforms, said the police officer.
Taking cognizance of the matter, he said, the accused individuals have been booked in case FIR number 185/2024 under sections 329(3), 132, 352, and 351(3) of the BNS registered at police station Kanachak and further investigation started.
