MENDHAR, May 21: The residential quarter of Assistant Director, Sheep Husbandry at Balnoi Sheep Farm was gutted today.
Official sources said that AD Sheep Husbandry, Ajay Soodan was not there today at Balnoi when the mishap took place. His residential quarter was completely damaged in major fire. LPG cylinder kept in the kitchen blasted during fire and caused extensive damage to the building.
The SDM Mendhar said that an inquiry has been ordered to know the cause of accident. No loss of human life or cattle was reported. Three employees engaged in fighting fire had narrow escape when the gas cylinder exploded there.
