JAMMU, Dec 11: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) president and Co-Chairman of Federation of Industries Jammu, Lalit Mahajan has drawn the attention of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah towards the pending liability of about Rs 50 crores with Finance Department on account of GST and turn over incentives of the MSME units holders in the J&K.
In a press statement here today, Mahajan alleged that Finance Department failed to clear the liability of nearly Rs 25 crores in respect of approved GST reimbursement claims ending June 2025 and Rs 25 crores for the FY 2022-23 already sanctioned and submitted by Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu in respect of turnover incentives of Industrial units, pending with Govt Treasuries due to non- release of funds.
