NEW DELHI, Aug 25: Visiting Fijian Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka today called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The President said that India remains committed to strengthening its relations and development partnership with the Pacific Island Countries (PICs), among which Fiji remains a special partner.
President Murmu had visited Suva last year.
Earlier, the Fijian PM held bilateral talks with PM Modi at Hyderabad House, following which the two sides inked several agreements.
The Fijian PM is on a three-day visit to India.
On Tuesday, the Fijian PM will deliver a keynote address on his vision for the Pacific as an Ocean of Peace at the Indian Council of World Affairs.
