JAMMU, Sept 6: FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh (JKL) today launched the first phase of its flood relief donation drive to support families affected by the recent natural calamity in the region.
As part of the initiative, members of FICCI FLO JKL handed over 150 sets of relief material, including blankets, mattresses, sheets and pillows, to MLA Yudhvir Sethi and former minister Priya Sethi. The relief kits were formally handed over to the senior BJP leaders on the directions of Aarti Chowdhary, chairperson, FICCI FLO JKL.
The relief distribution drive was led by Varuna Anand, National Vertical Head Partnerships and Collaboration; Varsha Bansal, senior vice chairperson, Rupika Sahai – vice chairperson, Sona Mehta – treasurer, Shipra Aggarwal- joint treasurer, Pooja Dewan- joint secretary and Kamakshi Dewan, member.
The members present said that the initiative reflects FICCI FLO JKL’s collective commitment towards social responsibility and community service. They emphasized that timely assistance in the form of essential relief material would provide much-needed support to the affected families and reaffirmed their resolve to continue extending help in subsequent phases of the relief campaign.
Aarti Chowdhary, in her message, expressed that FICCI FLO JKL remains committed to standing with communities in times of crisis. “Our endeavor is to provide immediate support and relief to the affected families so they can rebuild their lives with dignity. This is just the beginning, and we will continue to extend help wherever required,” she said.
