JAMMU, Sept 8: Fire and Emergency Services Department today educated students about the steps required to be taken during disasters.
An official spokesman said that a team of the department led by Divisional Fire Officer Gandhi Nagar Pritam Lal under the guidance of Director Dilbagh Singh and Deputy Director Command Jammu R C Raina organized a demonstration-cum-lecture at Higher Secondary School Bahu Fort as part of awareness campaign.
The students were educated about steps required to be taken during disasters and the equipment being used by the department in fighting fire and during rescue operation following natural calamities.
