JAMMU, July 27: The Federation of Retailers Association Jammu today elected its new body during a meeting held today, under the supervision of its President, Vijay Gupta.
During the meeting, former President Yash Pal Gupta was appointed as Chairman of the Federation, while Kewal Krishan Gupta was nominated as Chief Patron.
The house unanimously elected the new office bearers with Vijay Gupta continuing as President. Daleep Gupta was elected as Senior Vice President and Parveen Sharma as General Secretary. Arjun Gupta and Ajay Mahajan were elected as Vice Presidents, while Pawan Sharma was elected as Cashier. Om Parkash Gupta and Ajay Gupta were appointed as Secretaries. Satish Gupta was named Secretary IT Cell and Raju Banalia was elected as Joint Secretary.
Various issues concerning the retail business community were discussed during the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Gupta assured the members that the newly elected team will work round-the-clock for the welfare of the retail community and will make every effort to resolve the issues faced by traders. He stressed on unity and collective efforts to strengthen the retail sector and promote the interests of business owners in the region.
