BARAMULLA, Aug 22: A father-son duo died in a road accident at Rajarwani area in Uri tehsil of Baramulla district today, officials said.

They said the accident took place when a dumper collided with a load carrier at Rajarwani area along the National Highway in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, leaving two people dead on the spot.
They were identified as Lateef Ahmad Ganie and his son Faizan Ahmad Ganie, residents of Garkote, Uri.
Taking cognisance of the matter, police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law and started further investigation into the matter.
