UDHAMPUR, Mar 18: A motorcyclist died while his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when their bike was hit by an unknown vehicle near Battal Ballian on National Highway, here this evening.
The deceased has been identified as Ranbir Singh, son of Angrej Singh, resident of Garnai, Udhampur while the injured, identified as Ankush Jamwal (18) son of Ranbir Singh of Garnai, was admitted to District Hospital Udhampur.
The accident took place this evening when the Motorcycle, bearing registration number JK14H 8416, was hit by an unknown vehicle near Battal Ballian (NH). Locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared Ranbir Singh as brought dead. Rehambal police registered a case in this connection.
