SAMBA, Oct 3: A farmer died while ploughing the fields in the border village of Samba, Mangu Chak today. The accident occurred when the tractor overturned suddenly while the farmer was ploughing the fields and he was seriously injured.
He was rushed to District Hospital Samba by the people where he succumbed to his injuries.
The dead body was handed over to family after postmortem for the last rites. The deceased has been identified as Darshan Kumar son of Parmanand of Manguchak Samba. The deceased is in the Jammu and Kashmir Police and was posted as a Head constable in the Border Police Post, Rajpura of Samba district. The police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
