JAMMU, Mar 24: Hari Prabhu Sanstha in collaboration with Rotary Eye ENT Hospital Udhampur today organised an eye check-up camp at Nagrota Gujroo, Ramkot.
A medical team from the Rotary Eye Hospital led by Dr Ankur Goyal examined 200 patients hailing from remote and other backward areas of Billawar, Ramkot, Ramnagar and Basholi.
A handout stated that out of 200, 31 patients were screened for implantation of IOL which will be implanted free of cost at the Rotary Hospital Udhampur on April 3.
Eye drops and other medicines were also distributed free of cost in the camp.
On this occasion, Sanstha donated Rs 11,000 to Rotary Hospital Udhampur Welfare Fund.
Sanstha will also provide free transportation to the patients for their operation at the Udhampur Hospital.
Dr Goel and Sanstha President, S.C Gupta said, such services will continue for the prevention of blindness in the area.
Jagmohan Gupta, K.L Gupta, Subhash Gupta, S.P Gupta and other members of the Sanstha were also present in the camp.
