KATHUA, June 28: To arrest the menace of illicit distillation of liquor the sleuths of Excise Department destroyed more than 950 kilograms of lahan & 30 bottles of illicit liquor which is highly hazardous and injurious for health during their raid in Mirpur Jaggu, Dadoli, Chakdrabkhan, Kangdyal & Sitdyal areas of Kathua district today.
The raid was conducted on the directives of the Excise Commissioner, Mohd. Javed Khan and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Syed Muried Hussain Shah, by the Excise team of Kathua led by E.T.O Excise Range Kathua, Sandeep Gupta & E.T.O Eradication & Enforcement Wing Jammu, Rohit Sharma along with Inspector Excise Kathua, Arun Kumar & other excise staff.
