JAMMU, Sept 9: Former MLC and chief spokesperson of J&K State Congress Ravinder Sharma has strongly condemned Pakistan for continued heavy shelling in Sunderbani and Nowshera sector targetting civilian areas.
Reacting strongly to the continued mischief of Pakistan on LoC, Sharma has warned Pakistan for any misadventure against mighty India and asked her to desist from continuous ceasefire violations risking lives causing damage to the property of border residents.
He said the brave border residents are unarmed soldiers of the country and despite risk to their lives and property they stay put in vulnerable areas to defeat the designs of Pakistan and fight shoulder to shoulder with Indian Army. He lauded the role of border population & armed forces, for their continuous vigil, dedication and devotion to defeat nefarious designs of enemy.
PCC leader asked the Government and Armed forces to teach a lesson to Pakistan in the event of any mischief and misadventure of Pakistan.
“Our forces are capable enough to deal with any challenge and not only defeat the nefarious designs of enemy but teach a lesson like they did in the year 1971, when Pakistan was not only suffered a humiliating defeat but left divided into two nations with surrender of over 90,000 Pak Army, for the release of which it signed the Shimla agreement conceeding the Indian stand on Kashmir being internal issue. The nation is united and together to meet any external threat or misadventure,” he added.
He asked the Government to ensure adequate compensation to the effected people, who suffered loss in firing in Meenka, Kalai, Deeing, Kalal, Bawa Khori and other affected areas.
