Ex-CRPF jawan murdered

MENDHAR, July 29:  A retired CRPF personnel was murdered and his body was thrown in Simkan forest area of Mendhar tehsil.
The skeleton of the deceased  Wazir Hussain (62), son of Bagh Hussain, resident of Niaka Majari (Balakote), was recovered from Simkan forest, about 500 meters away from old Ramkund Mandir today.
A villager noticed the human skeleton and some of the belongings of the deceased including his stick, Election Photo I-card, bascot  and informed police. The Mendhar police party led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Amit Bhasin and SHO Nazir Dar reached the spot after some time and informed the family members of missing Ex-CRPF man. From the belongings, he could be identified.
The police after performing legal formalities asked the family for the disposal of the left over body/skeleton of the deceased. The police said that it has registered a case under Section 174 CrPC but maintained that possibility of murder can not be ruled out. The family of the deceased said that he was missing for the last 14-15 days and  it is a case of clear murder.
The deceased’s  brother Faiz Ahmed, who is constable in J&K Police said that his brother has been murdered  and his neck is believed to have chopped off  by the assailants. He dismissed the theory of police which also indicated that it seems  Hussain has been killed by some wild animals. He said if such was the case his clothes should have been torn. His bascot which was found lying at 100 meter away was clean and intact.  Faiz said his brother was  known poet of the area and used to visit all the shrines in district Poonch. He was religious and God fearing man and had no enemy.  Election Photo-I Card was lying in his pocket and his hand stick was also lying at some distance when police party reached. The deceased has five daughters and two sons out of two wives. The police has started investigation into the matter.
