JAMMU, July 28: The Co-ordination Committee of Estates Employees Union has demanded re-organisation of the department and regularization of daily rated workers.
In a general meeting of the Estates employees held here today under the joint leadership of Prem Singh Bawa and Yash Paul Sharma here today, the members stressed for early re-organisation of the Estates department. They demanded holding of DPC of all cadre, regularization of daily rated/ casual workers, in-situ promotions pending for the last six years, construction of own building of Dy Director Estates in Jammu, engagement of casual labourers for smooth functioning of Estates department and clearance of all pending SRO-43 cases.
These two leaders pointed out that Director Estates had principally agreed the demands of Estates employees during a meeting recently in Jammu in presence of Dy Director, Assistant Director and Executive Engineer Estates Division Jammu.
