JAMMU, Feb 23: ‘Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM)’ here today staged a street play ‘Nasha Mukti Ki Alakh Jagao’.
Sunder, a well educated man was trapped in drug addiction but suddenly there appears a saintly figure Ram Ji Kalyan, a retired teacher, committed to reform the bad elements of society and help the youth to come out of addiction.
He tells Sunder that drug addiction has never brought any prosperity but destroyed health of the addict person.
Kalyan further says that even the family members of the addict person remain worried and depressed and the addict person feels ashamed and is disrespected in the society.
Finally he convinces Sunder to shun addiction.
People who witnessed the street play appreciated the theme.
Artists who performed in the play were Vijay Malla, Rahul Dev, Shaliza, Romika, Suresh Kumar, Darshana Devi and Shivani.
