JAMMU, Dec 29: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) here today staged street play ‘Jagrukta Samaj Ki Aur’ at Sports Park, Jammu Club.
The play shows Roshan Lal trapped by some antisocial elements after which he steals some gold ornaments from his home and gets caught which shocks his mother and sisters.
They approach Police Station to teach a lesson to Lal who gets confused when authorities interrogate him.
He confesses and accepts that he stole the gold from his home for getting a job as he was misguided by some frauds.
Ornaments were recovered easily and Roshan Lal accepted his fault that he was misguided.
Lal’s home people counselled him and he apologised to his family for what he did.
His grandfather Shanker Raj asked Lal to maintain distance from anti-social elements and be sincere towards own family and society.
Artists who performed in the play were Shalley Singh, Romika, Poonam, Shivani, Akshay Kumar, Darshna Devi and Vijay Malla.
The street play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
