JAMMU, Feb 3: Cultural group ‘Ek Sath Rang Mandal’ (ESRM) here today presented Nukad play ‘Nari Ka Vikas’.
The play highlighted that one cannot ignore the contributions of women towards society and nation as they have done miracles and also participated in the freedom struggle of the country.
A handout of ESRM stated that its artists interacted with women asking them certain questions and offering them certain suggestions.
These artists also made the women aware on number of women engaged in agriculture sector which as per the 2011 census was 40 crore.
The artists also said that women’s contributions are more than those of men as they are active and responsible for household tasks and in grooming their children.
Actors who acted in the play were Dr. Ripu Daman Parihar, Raju Mad, Angel Sumreena Jan, Raju and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
