JAMMU, Nov 12: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented Vijay Malla’s new nukkad “Dharti Kehey Pukar Ke” under its Monday Theatre Series at Paka Talab, Muncipal Park, Rehari, Jammu.
The nukkad educates that we should be careful and responsible for the safety of Earth which is the only source of our survival. It is our moral duty to make aware our younger generation about the importance of Earth.
In the nukkad, a group of volunteers promote this message among school going children. They start their lesson with global warming which can be checked and curtailed by planting maximum tress on Earth.
By planting trees, we can curb the effect of “Air Pollution”. Next, we should use limited electricity and fossil fuels which will save us from “global warming”. Third, we must promote the use of solar lights and wind energy to save Earth.
They explain that Earth is a pretty unique place in the Universe that has great biodiversity both in plants and animals. Earth being our home, we must invest in environment and save it for coming generations.
We are blessed with beauty of nature, sunrise and sunset. We enjoy beautiful beaches and glooming flowers. We are blessed with air that we breathe for our survival and this can never be possible without trees. Earth provides us food and water from nature. Finally, we must reduce our needs and consumption which is the best remedy to save Earth. All the children took oath that they will follow all these teachings and will educate others also.
Actors who acted in the play were, Gopal Singh, Raju Mad, Daksh, Khushi, Rageesh, Rajesh, Rohit Gupta, Mohit Sharma, Sayam, Tarun, Ragav and Vijay Malla. The nukkad was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
