Sir,
The greatest tragedy of 21st century in India is a slur of corruption. Unabated phenomenon of scams and embezzlements have shaken the back bone of our economy. Many deptts known for being free from corruption are neck-deep in this pool. Materialistic approach has made almost everyone disturbed to the extent that all human and social values, exactly needed in mankind and also the fact that such values distinguish between a man and an animal, appear totally lost.
Who doesn’t know that nothing can be carried with when a soul departs from a body. Even kith and kins don’t wait a longer when the body is consigned to flames. Only Dharma (Righteousness) and good and bad deeds accompany the soul. In the circumstances, accumulation of wealth through unfair means can’t be justifiable. What is more tragic is that harder the laws to curb its prevalence, the more it is exercised. For implementation of any rule moral values are necessary. Obviously, cultivation of such values in the society is greatly needed.
Since it is most disturbing factor and weakens the nation, its rooting out is the crying need of time. For healthy democracy, character of citizens, totally away from selfishness, is required.
Therefore, any endeavour for its fast eradication, is indispensible for progress of the country.
Yours etc…
