UDHAMPUR, Oct 6: Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar today said that democracy cannot run in a healthy manner if political parties and leaders keep on demonizing each other.
While addressing party-workers meeting at Ramnagar today, he said entire country stands like a rock behind the phenomenal move of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for demolishing terror camps across the border and the certain negative versions and statements have not gone properly down the spine of right thinking people. Fusion and no fission is the mood today. The need of the hour is constructive politics and nothing is beyond the gamut of national interest, he added.
While reacting to certain irresponsible acts and antics of a certain section of political parties and leaders, Pathania made a fervent appeal to them to realize and re-appreciate that -may be in power or out of power-one should talk and walk sense. He further exhorted upon party cadres not to be carried away and panicked with certain irresponsible criticism and observe restraint. He also called upon them to avoid knee jerk reaction and avoid landing in useless controversies as it gives bad name to the party.
The public of Ramnagar has given mandate for “Inclusive and all-round development of Ramnagar” i.e, “Sabka Saath;Sabka Vikas” and we should collectively work on fullfilling the aspirations of the public.
Earlier, Pathania held a meeting with officers and officials of various Government departments to review the progress and pace of major development projects which are presently being executed in the constituency.
Later in the day, keeping up his promise of making public administration and grievance redressal mechanism available at the doorsteps of general public, MLA conducted a public grievance redressal camp at Dak-Bungalow, Ramnagar for redressal of problems being faced by the public, in which representatives, senior officers and district/block heads of Education Department, Rural Development, Power Development Department (PDD), Public Heath Engineering (PHE), PMGSY, Social Welfare, ICDS, Health and other departments were also present. MLA issued directions for on spot redressal of the problems projected by the people.
