JAMMU, Mar 16: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today ordered transfers and postings of some engineers in the Jal Shakti Department, including assignment of additional charges to ensure smooth functioning of mechanical wings across different divisions.

As per the Government order, Kulwant Singh, In-charge Superintending Engineer (SE), who was awaiting orders of posting, has been posted to PHE Mechanical Rural Circle Jammu against an available vacancy.
Similarly, Raise Maqbool Masoodi, In-charge Superintending Engineer, also awaiting posting orders, has been posted to PHE Mechanical Circle (South) Srinagar against an available vacancy.
The order further states that Sudesh Sharma, In-charge Executive Engineer (XEn) currently posted in PHE Mechanical North Division Jammu, will additionally hold the charge of the vacant post of PHE Mechanical Rural Division Jammu until further orders.
In another arrangement, Gowhar Nazir Qureshi, In-charge Executive Engineer presently posted in Mechanical Irrigation Division Shadipora, has been assigned the additional charge of the vacant post of PHE Mechanical Division North Sopore.
