JAMMU, Jan 23: Revenue realization and general checking of Feeder No-J 16, J 5, J, 6 at Old Janipur, Ambedkar Nagar, Ram Vihar, Shant Nagar, Pandhoka Colony, Hari Nagar and Daily Excelsior Lane was conducted by the officials of Electric &MRE Department.
As per a release, during the checking 25 illegal connections were disconnected on spot and wires were confiscated.
The Department has made an appeal to the people to cooperate with it and avoid misuse of electricity and deposit their dues immediately.
The checking was conducted under the overall supervision of AEE Sub Division III, EM&RE, Neeraj Sharma. The team comprised of Parshotam Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Shammi Abrol, Ashwani Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Charan Dass, Farooq Ahmed Bhat, Ajay Bahadur Singh, Kamal Verma, Tilak Raj and Jugal Kishore.
