DODA, Apr 17: District Hospital Police arrested employee of a shop and his accomplice along with stolen items.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a shop owner Rajesh Mahajan with Police regarding theft of some essential items from his shop Mahajan & Mahajan Enterprise at New Bus Stand Doda.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 67/2020 under section 457 and 380 IPC was registered and investigation started.
During investigation, a team led by Incharge Police Post District Hospital Doda ASI Shakoor Ahmed laid a naka and intercepted an Eeco car bearing registration number JK06A-5899.
During checking, police team recovered the stolen items from the vehicle and arrested the employee of the complainant and his associate.
The arrested persons were identified as Hoshiyar Singh (employee), son of Bharat Singh of Bhagwa and Sahil Sharma, son of Girdhari Lal of Bhagwa.
The whole operation was carried out under the supervision of SHO Doda Inspector Muneer Ahmed Khan, DySP Headquarters Manoj Kumar, Additional SP Master Popsy and SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed.
