Elite Tigers thrashes TCC to enter finals

JAMMU, Oct 23: Drubbing TCC convincingly in the semifinals, Elite Tigers sealed berth in the finals of the ongoing Col RN Chopra Challenge Cup, here.
Earlier, Elite tigers won the toss and elected to bat first to score a good total of 274 in 35 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. Aquib scored 134 runs, while Nishank and Nikhil contributed 24 and 21 runs respectively. For TCC, Abu Baker took 3 wickets, while Sushant and Shreya claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, TCC bundled out for 80 runs in 16 overs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 94 runs. Harsh Gupta top scored with 46 runs. For Elite Tigers, Aquib and Utkarsh Pandita took 3 wickets each. Aquib was adjudged as the man of the match for his brilliant knock.
The match was officiated by Jitender Singh Manhas, Deepak Singh and Sujit.
Now, Elite Tigers will lock horns against Vriddhi Royals in the final.
