JAMMU, Dec 27: Continuing its drive, Power Distribution Corporation Ltd today disconnected electric connections of defaulting consumers in Gandhi Nagar constituency and recovered outstanding arrears of more than Rs 21 lakhs.
The team, headed by Assistant Executive Engineer, Electric Sub-Division-1 and comprising AE, Feeder Managers and other Field staff, conducted inspection in different section of Electric Sub-Division-I, Gandhi Nagar Jammu of PDCL. The team disconnected 75 number of electric connections of defaulting consumers in Gandhi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Narwal, Bathindi Section and recovered outstanding arrears of Rs 21, 75,116.
The JPDCL has appealed the general public to cooperate with the Department and restrict use of heating gadgets/room heaters, electric cooking appliances etc.
