JAMMU, Sept 11: The Contractors Association Jammu Province (CAJP) has informed that the process for new elections will start soon after the ongoing rainy season to elect the new office bearers for PWD (R&B) Contractors Association Jammu District as well as for the provincial body of the Association.
In a press conference here today, Vinod Kohli, general secretary CAJP said that the elections will be held after framing committee of senior contractors to conduct the elections.
He said that office bearers of Jammu district body of the Association headed by Narinder Gupta, president; Ravinder Nath, vice president; Joy Khokhar, general secretary; Raj Kapoor, secretary and Subash Chander, cashier, have resigned from their present positions and submitted their resignation to Provincial Central Body headed by Sham Singh Jamwal, president and Vinod Kohli, general secretary and the resignations were accepted.
Kohli also said that till the new office bearers are elected, all the present office bearers of the district body will remain care takers.
