JAMMU, Oct 27: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC-R) today discusses the burning issues of the Government employees.
In a meeting of the Joint Action Committee (R) held here today, under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, the members held detailed discussion on the long-pending demands and pressing issues faced by the employees of different departments.
The main agenda points included- regularization of all daily wagers; release of pending DA (Dearness Allowance); enhancement of Medical Allowance of employees and pensioners; restoration of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS); conduct regular Departmental Promotion Committees (DPCs) in all departments and remove anomalies in the pay grade of clerical cadre.
The leadership of EJAC (R) unanimously resolved to pursue these issues vigorously with the concerned authorities and reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the rights and welfare of all Government employees in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included – Muzafer Nabi, Muzafer Ahmad, Madan Sangral, Mohd Sultan Mir, Sameer Mughal, Bashir Ahmad, Mohd Ayoub and others.
