SAMBA, Oct 26: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Samba seized eight vehicles, including six dumpers, used for illegal transportation of the construction material in different areas of the district.
A police official said that the seizures were made during patrolling by police teams from the jurisdictions of Samba, Ghagwal, and Purmandal Police Stations, along with Police Posts Supwal, Rakh Amb Talli, and Rajpura.
He said the seized vehicles included six dumpers and two tractor trolleys.
All the seized vehicles were handed over to the Geology and Mining Department Samba for further legal action, he added.
