RAJOURI, May 16: General Officer Commanding (GOC), Ace of Spades Division, flagged in the tour organised by Barasingha battalion, under Krishna Ghati brigade, for 20 youth hailing from Mendhar, Tain, Chirangari, Chajjla, Choi, Bobby Camp and Mankot, today.
The youth got an opportunity to visit historical places of Delhi, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Noida including Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple and Taj Mahal among others. The tour members also interacted with Senior Army Officers who helped in widening the horizons and increasing awareness among the youth. The highlight of the tour was interaction with the President of India Pranab Mukherjee and a visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan at New Delhi.
SDM, Mendhar, SDPO, Mendhar and other Officials alongwith large number of Civilians attended the function.
