Educational reforms

Sir,
Falling standard of education in Govt schools has necessitated drastic changes and streamlining in the systems regulating the entire educational sector. How distressing it was when hundreds of schools were closed due to this enrolment. When even a commonman with least affordable economic conditions feels reluctant to send his ward in such schools, and runs for private schools for better education, exhibits a sense of distrust and hopelessness. Not that the Govt schools don’t enjoy qualified teachers but wrong policies and consequent wave of corruption that has saturated in all organs of the department, brought such unpleasant scenario. Lack of accountability everywhere  has ruined this super structure, a base for progress and prosperity. A teacher is the builder of a nation. His stature and dignity deserve to be upheld. All sort of maladies, the department suffers from, need to be rooted out by streamlining the systems. Teaching is a noble profession, its sanctity must be maintained. The masses, in general, depend on Govt schools. Every effort to ameliorate and improve the schooling conditions is considered inadequate and necessary. Until provision, for quality education is ensured, the obligation  of the Govt towards the masses will remain unfulfilled.
Yours etc…
