JAMMU, Mar 14: The 10 day training for PMEGP beneficiaries under EDP conducted by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) Jammu concluded at RSETI Roop Nagar, Jammu.
Thirty PMEGP beneficiaries from different parts of Jammu District participated in the training.
On this occasion, a small function was organized which was graced with the presence of Rajesh Kumar, State Director KVIC J&K and Ladakh UTs and Arindam Roy, Assistant Director/Nodal Officer, State Office KVIC, Jammu, Sunny Goja, Director SBI RSETI Jammu, Faculty Members and other staff of RSETI.
Rajesh, elaborated about PMEGP scheme, a credit linked subsidy scheme launched by Government of India and is being implemented by J&K Khadi & Village Industries Commission Jammu.
In this scheme, 15 per cent to 35 per cent subsidy is being routed through nationalized banks for eventual distribution to the beneficiaries in their bank accounts.
On this occasion, the certificate distribution ceremony was also organized during which the participants got Certificates of Participation.
Goja encouraged the candidates to open their self employment business ventures with the help of PMEGP scheme.
Director, RSETI, Sunny Goja maintained that SBI RSETI Jammu is aimed at skill building of prospective small entrepreneurs/borrowers especially for rural youth.
