Jaipur, Aug 21: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the State Government is setting up new dimensions of development continuously. Owing to public- welfare-oriented decisions taken by the State Government, Rajasthan has emerged as a model state in the country. The state has made remarkable progress in various fields including education, health, social security and infrastructure development.
The State Government has benefited every section through public welfare schemes by ensuring efficient financial management. Expressing the resolution of ‘Mission 2030’ to make Rajasthan the leading state of the country at the State level function on Independence Day, the Chief Minister said that the state’s economy was about Rs 9 lakh 11 thousand crore in the year 2018-19. Today it has reached 14.14 lakh crore rupees. Now our target is to increase it to two and a half times with Rs 35.71 lakh crore by the year 2030, he said.
For this, the “Rajasthan – Mission 2030” campaign is being run in the state till September 30, 2023. Under the campaign, suggestions are being taken from more than one crore residents of the state including economists, writers, journalists, students, Government employees, advocates, farmers, laborers, women, youth, intellectuals and players. Suggestions will be taken online from the public on the website being developed for the very purpose. Also suggestions will be taken through Face to Face and IVR survey. Essay competitions will be held among students in all schools and colleges in relation to the Mission 2030. The Government will issue a vision document of Mission 2030 after incorporating these suggestions.
In the continuance of the Mission-2030, Chief Minister will hold discussions with representatives of all above-mentioned sections, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, and Heads of Departments in a state-level program to be organized at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur at 12 noon on Tuesday. A large number of youth from all the districts will join the program through video conference also. In his address, the Chief Minister will discuss the objectives, and expectations of Mission 2030 and the expectations from the State Government by the stakeholders and these participants.
