JAMMU, Feb 15: Marking a significant advancement in heart health services, Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital here today inaugurated advanced ECHO, TMT (Treadmill Test) and Holter machines.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of senior vice president, Amar Chand Gupta; Anil Gupta, president of the Hospital and key members of the management committee including B.B Gupta, general secretary; B.S Jamwal, secretary; Mohan Singh Chouhan, treasurer; Dr. Sachin Gupta, member; Dr. Romesh Gupta, Administrator; Iqbal Deep Singh, Manager; Dr. Anil Sharma, Cardiologist; Dr. Madan Gandotra, Dr. Ghanshyam Dev Gupta, Dr. S.K Bali, Dr. Arvind Kohli and Dr. S.L Fotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Gupta, president, said: “The addition of the ECHO, TMT and Holter machines strengthens our ability to provide precise cardiac care. Dr. Anil Sharma, Cardiologist, explained that the ECHO helps in assessing heart’s structure and function, TMT test helps evaluate heart performance under stress, and Holter monitor tracks heart activity continuously over 24-48 hours, aiding in the detection of irregularities.
A handout stated that with the inauguration of ECHO, TMT and Holter machines, the Hospital takes a significant step forward in strengthening commitment to comprehensive cardiac care.
