Jammu, Feb 19: The much-awaited premium electric SUV E Vitara was launched today at NEXA Jamkash Vehicleades showroom in Jammu amid great enthusiasm and fanfare.
The prestigious launch ceremony was graced by SSP Traffic Jammu, Amit Bhasin, as the chief guest, while DySP Sunniya Ashkoor Wani attended as the guest of honour.
The event was also held in the presence of Maj Gen Jagdeep Singh Ishar (Retd), CEO of Jamkash Vehicleades Pvt Ltd, and Col Pritam Chand (Retd), Executive Director.
A large gathering of customers, dignitaries, automobile enthusiasts, bankers and members of the Jamkash team marked the occasion.
Speaking on the launch, officials highlighted that Maruti Suzuki continues to strengthen its presence in the electric mobility segment with the introduction of the E Vitara.
Designed on Suzuki’s dedicated HEARTECT-e platform, the SUV combines advanced technology, strong performance, and a bold, modern design.
A key highlight of the vehicle is its innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which significantly reduces the upfront cost.
The SUV is available at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 10.99 lakh (excluding battery), while customers can opt for battery rental at an economical running cost of approximately Rs 3.99 per kilometre.
The vehicle is equipped with premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, dual digital displays, ventilated front seats and a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
On the safety front, it comes with Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera and a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.
Additionally, every E Vitara comes with a complimentary 7.4 kW AC home charger and installation, along with an 8-year/1,60,000 km battery warranty.
The company is also offering an assured buyback plan of up to 60% after three years.
