UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Udhampur organized district-level selection-cum-trials for Under-19 Boys in the disciplines of Cricket and Swimming, aiming to identify talented youth to represent Udhampur at the upcoming Divisional Level Inter-District Competitions.
The trials were held under the supervision of Romesh Chander Mishra, District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO), Udhampur, who was present as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Vijay Kumar, Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO), Panchari.
A total of 41 students participated in the trials across both disciplines. The event was conducted professionally by expert panels. The Cricket Selection Committee included: Ajit Singh (PEM), Raj Kumar (PEM), Rajesh Sharma (PEM), Rakesh (PET), Pooja Sharma (PET), Jyoti Sharma (REK), Aruna Jamwal (REK), Sourav Pandit (REK), Vickey Sharma (REK) and Deepak Sharma (REK).
The Swimming Selection Committee comprised: Sunil Dutt Khajuria (PEM), Sunil Singh (PET), Ishang Bandral (REK), Meenu (PET), Sandeep Kour (PET), Naveen Kumar (PEM) and Dheeraj Tharmat (REK).
