JAMMU, June 7: Advocate Purnima Sharma, JMC Deputy Mayor along with Councillor Akshay Sharma kick started construction of Public Toilet Complex in Ward-8, here today.
The allotted cost for the work is 10.5 lakhs in which two urinals and two bathrooms for men and two bathrooms from women and one care taker room are to be constructed in the toilet complex.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv Purnima Sharma directed the concerned Assistant Executive Engineer and Junior Engineer to make sure the work is done in a time bound manner and its quality is up to the mark.
Later, the Deputy Mayor appealed the locals not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are still on the rise and only to go out when it’s important that too by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
Mahant Datgiri ji, Yogi Yogeshwar Nath ji and other prominent members of the ward were also present during the event.
