JAMMU, Apr 12: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary released the teaser of the upcoming Dogri feature film Shah Shahni at the Press Club of Jammu today, where he hailed cinema as a vital instrument for the preservation of regional heritage.
While addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister commended Director Rajnesh Kumar Gupta and the entire production team for their commitment to highlighting regional identity through the medium of film.
He emphasized that such creative endeavors are essential for strengthening cultural roots and ensuring that the younger generation remains deeply connected to their linguistic legacy.
During the event, Choudhary assured the filmmaking community that the government is actively implementing vigorous measures to support the industry in Jammu and Kashmir.
These initiatives include providing policy support and various incentives designed to create a more conducive environment for local film production.
