SRINAGAR: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh has greeted people on Buddha Purnima hoping that the occasion would usher peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In his message of felicitations, Dr Singh described Lord Buddha as an apostle of peace whose message of ahimsa and non-violence assumes much greater relevance in the present age when the world is faced with growing intolerance, violence and terrorism.
