JAMMU, Feb 23: Durganagar Welfare Coordination Committee here today organised a meeting to discuss problems of the area.
The meeting was chaired by Sanjay Ganjoo and attended by Behari Lal Raina and M.K Razdan along with prominent residents of Durganagar/Dogranagar.
Speakers in the meeting said after the completion of the ongoing project of new Tube Well the problem of water crisis in Durganagar/Dogranagar will be solved.
They said that as per confirmation received from the officials of the concerned department the new tube well will be operational by the end of financial year 2024-25.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Durganagar Welfare Coordination Committee met officials of Relief Department in connection with arrangements of walnuts, flowers, fish and other fresh vegetables on Maha Shivratri festival starting from February 25, 2025.
The Relief Department officials assured that all the necessary items will be available from Monday morning.
The delegation also urged the officials of PDD to avoid power cuts on Maha Shivratri.
