Durga Nagar residents concern over water scarcity

JAMMU, May 29: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee in its meeting today held under the chairmanship of its president, Roshan Lal Raina has expressed grave concern over the water scarcity being faced by the people of area for last 20 days.
The meeting made an appeal to Chief Engineer, PHE and other officers to pay attention towards the issue and solve the drinking water problem of the people. It also made an appeal to Chief Engineer PDD to ensure the regular power supply in the area.
Raina disclosed in the meeting that he took up the issue of power cuts with Minister of Power Sunil Sharma and Chief Engineer, M&RE Jammu and appealed them to issue instructions to officers not to enforce power cuts.
